A HAR file is not specific to Adobe Connect or Adobe Learning Manager.
HAR stands for HTTP ARchive format.
HAR files can be advantageous in diagnosing issues including but not limited to:
Page rendering (Incomplete Login, connection errors, etc)
How is a HAR file used?
- Developers may utilize the HAR file when they cannot replicate an issue or error.
- Developers may review the HAR file to find potential issues which can only be detected by having the user repeat the steps in the same environment as the initial problem. The environment is the Operating System, browser, wired or wireless connection, etc.
What information is provided in the HAR file?
The HAR file generated by the Connect application is not identical to the type of HAR file that a user may self-generate. The HAR file generated by Adobe Connect contains the following:
- The version of the AC application
- The available Memory on the computer
- Camera details
- Microphone data
- Meeting URL
- Errors encountered in chronological order.
- Disconnect Data
